Summary Historical certificate: formed on January 18, 1843 to concentrate cases on the forest part in one management and for the head of forest educational institutions.The department was subordinated to the corps of foresters.A special forest committee was established under the department - to resolve all technical issues on forestry and for the consideration of projects of forest societies, forestry partnerships and congresses, as well as an audience for solving investigative and court cases (abolished in 1867).The competence of the Department included: the organization of protection and multiplication of state forests, the installation of the right economy, forestry work in them;collecting and developing statistical information about forests and forestry;organization of forest protection, including fires and harmful insects;organization of nursers and seed stations;conducting forest cultural, hydraulic and drainage works, research of sand and ravines, and the organization of work to strengthen them;survey of alloy tracks and a device of forest roads;Head of the Forest Education and the Forest Industry.On August 8, 1880, cases of forests were transferred to the Forest Department, and from December 21, 1884, all cases about the state property of the Kingdom of Poland.Six departments were created as part of the department: the first is the inspection, the second - to manage forests, the third - for forest protection, the fourth - for the management of the right forestry, the fifth - in operation, the sixth - counting.In the future, the competence of the departments changed and their number increased.By January 1, 1913, the Department had ten branches and four office work (forestry, sand and advanced, in cultural areas and for the allocation of state-owned lands).By 1917, office work began to be called departments, although their competence remained the same, by all, there were sixteen departments by this time.In accordance with the Basic Law on Forests of May 27, 1918, he was transformed into the Central Directorate of Forests of the Republic.The fund entered the EGAF as part of the general archive of the Ministry of Agriculture.In 1946-1951, scientific and technical processing of the fund was carried out in connection with the available non-painted materials.The affairs of all structural parts of the forest department were reflected in twenty -nine descriptions;No. 1 on No. 7 they are systematized according to the chronological principle, from No. 8 to No. 29 - according to the structural -chronological.In 1981, the inventories were improved: the headlines were clarified and supplemented, the content of a number of cases with "deaf" headlines (such as "different correspondence") is reflected in the appendices to the inventories
