Participants of the historical motocross "Victory Roads" arrived in Prague
The participants of the historical motocross "From Yekaterinburg to Prague, to the places of battles of the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps" arrived in the capital of the Czech Republic. The motocross is organized by the Yekaterinburg motor club "Black Knives" with organizational support from the Ministry of Economy and Territorial Development of Sverdlovsk Region. Events in Prague took place with the participation, organizational and informational support of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Prague.
In Prague, the participants of the motocross laid flowers to the monument of the liberator of Prague, Marshal of the Soviet Union I. S. Konev and to the memorial burial at the Olshansky cemetery, where the Red Army soldiers who died during the liberation of Czechoslovakia from fascism are buried.
On the same day, a meeting with the participants of the motocross rally was held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture. The guests and members of the motor club were welcomed by the acting head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Czech Republic, Andrei Konchakov, who thanked the participants of the motocross race for their work in preserving the historical memory and preventing the distortion of the events of the Great Patriotic War.
The President of the motor club Vadim Khairulin detailed about the motor rally "Victory Roads", which passes through the battlegrounds of the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps. He noted that the participants traveled more than 5,5 thousand kilometers and visited the historical and memorable places of the main battles of the tank corps in Yekaterinburg (Sverdlovsk), Oryol, Bryansk, Gomel, Minsk, Brest, Warsaw, Berlin and completed their route in Prague.
Then, Anatoly Kirillov, the director of the History Center "The Stronghold of Power" (Yekaterinburg), professor of the Yeltsin Ural Federal University, spoke in detail about the history of the creation of the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps and presented his books "From the Urals to Berlin and Prague" and "Middle Urals. Century XXI", which he donated to the library of the RCSC in Prague.
At the end of the meeting the guests and participants of the evening watched a concert program of the Slavic folklore ensemble "Legia" which performed songs of the wartime.
Compatriots residing in the Czech Republic and local citizens participated in the meeting of the RCSC in Prague. Among them were the first secretary of the Embassy of Russia in the Czech Republic Yekaterina Barancheyeva and members of the Czech motor club Red Eyed Crue.

It includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, agitation and propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies from participants in combat engagements and home front workers, their personal documents, images of combat and labor awards, monuments and memorials complexes, thoughts about the war of grandsons and great-grandchildren of veterans.
