Training seminar on application of Presidential Library’s resources mounted in Penza Region

A training seminar on the use of the Presidential Library portal, which brought together teachers of Russian language and literature, was held on September 13 at M. Yu. Lermontov Penza Regional Library.

Specialists of the Presidential Library Electronic Reading Room at M. Yu. Lermontov Penza Regional Library told the attendees about the annual “Russia in the Electronic World” Olympiad. They also showed a video about the participation of the Presidential Library in various educational processes and presented the “Russian Language” collection, which features manuscripts and publications of old Russian language written records, archival papers, studies, dictionaries, reference and educational books of various types and levels.

Penza Region is in the spotlight of “Penza Region: Pages of History” collection available on the website of the Presidential Library. The collection presents archival documents, essays, research works and statistic materials, which cast light on the demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of history of Penza Region in the late 18th – early 20th century. The current charter of Penza Region is available, too.
