Lermontov Penza Regional Library provided the campaign "All-Russian Historical Crossword"

January 27, 2019 the Lermontov Penza Regional Library as part of the "All-Russian Historical Crossword" educational campaign delivered "Siege: Chronicle of Life" presentation marking the 75th anniversary of the breaking of the Leningrad siege.

“Defence and Siege of Leningrad” collection is dedicated to this historical event on the Presidential Library’s portal. This is a unique public resource that most fully represents information about the heroism of defenders and residents of Leningrad, which can be used for educational, exhibition and research purposes.

Participants of “All-Russian Historical Crossword” campaign got familiar with the resources of the Presidential Library. Especially for them were prepared presentations of books from the electronic collections of the institution, dedicated to the significant landmarks of the history of our country.

The Presidential Library’s portal features “Penza Region: Pages of History” collection. It includes archival documents, essays, research and statistical materials covering demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Penza Region of the late XVIII - first third of the XX century. The current Charter of the region is presented.
