Forum "The Future of Kurgan" held in Kurgan Region

April 17, 2019 the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Research Library hosted the city forum "The Future of Kurgan". The event was attended by students of drama schools, poets, volunteer activists, employees of school and student media resources, teachers.

In the center of public access to information for the forum participants was organized a platform where they could learn about a unique resource - the Presidential Library’s e-collections. Young people were told about the rules of work in a remote electronic reading room, presented rare documents, those who wanted could register and become readers of the Presidential Library.

Kurgan Region: Pages of History electronic collection has been formed on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes studies, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the XIX - early XXI centuries, describing the administrative, socio-economic, geographical position of Kurgan and Shadrinsk counties, the territory of which is the basis of the modern Kurgan Region. The Statute in force (Basic Law) of Kurgan Region is provided.
