Quiz for senior pupils held in Penza

The Presidential Library annually holds an interactive Russia in the Electronic World Olympiad for senior students of educational institutions in such disciplines as the history of Russia, social studies and the Russian language.

On November 22, 2019, specialists of the Penza Regional Center of Access to Resources of the Presidential Library held a quiz for tenth graders from Penza School № 64.

The pupils were divided into two teams and answered questions from last year’s Olympiad. They fought for victory in each round. Tests for knowledge of historical facts and a chronology of events, questions from the field of artistic culture, even watching video files - and this is not a complete list of the tasks of the quiz.

In stages senior pupils needed to quickly master the search for information on the prlib.ru portal and find answers to questions in the digitized edition. Students of both teams coped with all tasks and scored an equal number of points, for which they were awarded diplomas.

The Presidential Library’s portal features materials of the native land included in Penza Region: Pages of History collection.  It includes archival affairs, essays, studies and statistical materials which spotlight various aspects of the history of the region from the end of the 18th to the first third of the 20th century: demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and others, as well as the current Charter of Penza Region.
