Webinar for library specialists of Penza Region in the Presidential Library’s Regional Center

On March 18, 2020 the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library with the assistance of the Legal Information Center held a webinar "Effective Use of Electronic Resources".

The participants got familiar with the portal prlib.ru, its electronic collections, learned about the unique content of the national library, the principles of its collection, and the possibilities of simple and advanced search.

On the eve of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, special emphasis was placed on the Memory of the Great Victory collection, which includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, propaganda posters and leaflets, and much more.

Employees of regional libraries were told about Russia in the Electronic World Olympiad, which the Presidential Library holds on history, social studies and the Russian language, as well as about the ongoing students’ work contest.

The Presidential Library features Penza Region: Pages of History collection, which includes a variety of materials: archival documents, essays, studies, statistics that cover demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Penza Region of the late XVIII - the first third of the XX century.
