The event dedicated to the Day of Sverdlovsk Region held online in Yekaterinburg

Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library provides watching the video review "The Day of Sverdlovsk Region in the Focus of the Presidential Library".

Sverdlovsk Region was formed on January 17, 1934 in accordance with the decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the USSR.

Traditionally, on the eve or on a holiday, the specialists of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library provide users with the materials of the thematic electronic collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History. The documents presented on the Presidential Library’s portal spotlight the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the region.

The first meeting in 2021 under the program of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center "Significant Dates of Russia" was held online. The participants of the event talked about the regional collection, about the projects implemented in 2020 and making it possible to better know the history of their land, about the future exhibition dedicated to the fate of the region and also learned what the pioneers of the Urals wrote about their small homeland in their book.
