Specialists of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library create virtual exhibitions in a new 3D format.

Previously exhibitions such as Symbols of Russia: State and National, Formal and Informal”, “Dostoevsky. A Screenshot of Life”, “Crimea through the Eyes of Librarians” have been created on the Wix and Tilda platforms.

After the successful implementation of a 3D tour of the main building of Belinka, the exhibitions of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library will also be implemented in 3D.

The first such exhibition "3D: Do Good Deeds" is dedicated to the Day of the patron and benefactor. The exposition features books about good deeds, trust, volunteerism and the implementation of charitable projects. The psychological components of the issue were not left aside - helping behavior, altruism, empathy, support of a neighbor. Thanks to the 3D tour, the books presented at the exhibition can be viewed and their bibliography can be downloaded.

“Real exhibitions sooner or later finish their work, but their trace remains in the virtual space. Thus, from a virtual tour it is possible to know about the most striking and important books of the exposition”, - says Marianna Ponikarovskaya, curator of the exhibition “3D: Do Good Deeds”.

Now the exhibition "Petersburg is each to his/her own", dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter I, is being created in 3D format.

The section "The Romanovs in the 18th century" of the Presidential Library collection "The House of Romanov. The Zemsky Sobor of 1613” includes materials on the history of the House of Romanov in the 18th century. It opens up with a selection of documents dedicated to Emperor Peter I (1672–1725), his first wife Eudoxia Fyodorovna Lopukhina (1669–1731) and their son, Tsarevich Alexei Petrovich (1690–1718). Other materials feature the personalities of empresses and emperors who succeeded each other on the Russian throne during the 18th century.
