Children of Chuvashia virtually visited the Grand Kremlin Palace

The Chuvash regional center of access to information resources of the Presidential Library based on the National Library of Chuvash Republic presented guys from the creative studio “Vangogi Summer School / VANГОГИ” the magnificence of the halls of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The guys learned that the Grand Kremlin Palace is the ceremonial residence of the head of state, where the inauguration ceremony of the President takes place, state awards are presented, important negotiations and meetings are held.

The film features five ceremonial order halls - Andreevsky, Alexandrovsky, Georgievsky, Vladimirsky and Ekaterininsky. The children listened with interest to the stories about the history of the halls creation, about the orders after which the halls are named.

In 2021, it will be 30 years since the establishment of the post of President of the Russian Federation. The formation and development of the institution of the presidency in Russia is a rather lengthy historical process. During this period, numerous official and regulatory documents, monographs, collections, newspaper and magazine publications, electronic, including multimedia, publications devoted to the formation of the institution of the presidency in Russia were published.

The key figure of the modern Russian state is the President of the Russian Federation, therefore, the important tasks of the Presidential Library were to cover the activities of the President, to acquire and store in electronic form a collection of documents on the history of the formation and development of the institution of the presidency in Russia and on the activities of the head of state.

Thus, the goal of the Presidential Library’s project Presidential Chronicle is to form, based on documentary materials obtained from official sources, an objective and accurate view of the history of Russia, the formation of citizenship and patriotism, the disclosure of the essence and history of the institution of presidential power. The digital collection Institute of Presidential Power in Russia has been formed on the library's portal. As part of a series of video lectures and multimedia lessons, event participants are told about the status and powers of the President of the Russian Federation, the historical, political and legal aspects of the establishment of the institution of the presidency in Russia.
