Regional webinar at the Altai Regional Center of the Presidential Library

On February 17, 2022 the regional webinar "Opportunities for the resources of the Presidential Library in the implementation of the updated education program" was held in Altai Territory. The organizers of the webinar are the Altai Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Shishkov Altai Regional Universal Scientific Library and the Altai Institute for the Development of Education.

The webinar involved more than 200 people - employees of school libraries, heads of municipal associations of school librarians, heads of municipal departments of education.

The audience was presented with an overview of the resources and capabilities of the Presidential Library for the implementation of the process of education in educational institutions, the features of planning and building work with the information resources of the Presidential Library.

Of particular interest were the activities and projects of the Presidential Library relevant for school age.

Such webinars are held on a systematic basis for different target groups and are aimed at supporting and developing a network of remote access centers to information resources of the Presidential Library.

Today the Presidential Library has opened more than 1,350 remote access centers in all 85 regions of the country.

There are 46 remote access centers of the Presidential Library opened abroad in 31 countries, including Germany, the USA, Italy, Spain, Austria, Great Britain and others. They are opened at Russian centers of science and culture and national libraries. Visitors to the Presidential Library have opportunity to deal with the catalogs of these libraries and gain access to the world's intellectual and cultural values as well as become participants in various projects.
