Days of the Presidential Library in Komi Republic

Days of the Presidential Library were held in Syktyvkar within the framework of the project "Federal Libraries for the Local Community" based on the National Library of Republic of Komi.

The event was attended by Advisor to the Director General of the Presidential Library, Director of the branch of the Presidential Library in Tyumen Region, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Oleg Leonidovich Shor.

The program of the second day was opened by the workshop “The Potential of Information Resources and Projects of the Presidential Library”, where Oleg Leonidovich Shor made a report “The Educational Potential of Information Resources of the Presidential Library” before the specialists of the public libraries of Komi Republic and remote reading rooms of the Presidential Library of institutions of Republic of Komi.

Deputy Branch Director Olga Viktorovna Kutyrlo presented online the collection of the Presidential Library World War II in Archival Documents to the workshop participants.

In his report "On building interaction with partners from the field of education and culture with the disclosure of the Presidential Library's collections on the example of the experience of Tyumen Region" Oleg Shor presented the specifics of the work and successful practices of cooperation between the Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library and institutions in the field of culture and education.
