The humanitarian mission of the International Program “Dobro” starts in Minsk

Psychologists and correctional teachers participate in the project. The event will take place on October 3-12, 2022.

Within the framework of the humanitarian mission, volunteers will host educational events for library specialists, whom they will tell about modern Russian methods of working with people with health problems, including the visually impaired and the blind.

The project is implemented by Rossotrudnichestvo together with the Volunteer Centers Association and the Russian Humanitarian Mission. The program allows Russian people to take part in socially significant projects abroad, promotes the establishment of friendly interstate relations and the creation of international volunteer community, helps to improve the quality of life of those who need help.

There are 6 remote electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library open in the Republic of Belarus, which gives visitors an opportunity to explore the diversity of collections of the library’s electronic holdings. For example, the collection Belarus: The History of Fraternal People includes official documents, historical and legal publications, religious literature, essays, memories, ethnographic compilations, as well as visual and cartographic materials that reveal various sides of the country’s life from the XVI to the early XX century.
