A quiz marking the 155th anniversary of the birth of Maxim Gorky held in Penza

Specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library have prepared an online quiz Gorky. Ad gustum.

The event marks the 155th anniversary of the birth of Maxim Gorky. The quiz provides interesting facts from the biography of the Russian writer, playwright and public figure.

The intellectual contests consist of questions, using the materials from the Presidential Library’s electronic collections. For example, this is the book by Eugene-Melchior de Vogüé Maxim Gorky (1902).

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Maxim Gorky (1868-1936), which includes digital copies of books, periodicals, archival documents, postcards, photographs, as well as texts of the writer's own works of art, articles and memoirs.

The Presidential Library’s portal also presents the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
