Nine Russian-language schools to be built in Kyrgyzstan

A meeting of the Kyrgyz-Russian Intergovernmental Commission was held in Bishkek on March 29, 2023. One of the main results is the signing of an agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation on the conditions for the construction, creation and operation in Kyrgyzstan of joint educational organizations providing education in Russian.

The project will be launched this year. The opening of the first school is scheduled for 2025. Recruitment of children will be carried out on a competitive basis. Each school is designed for 1200 places. Pupils will receive two certificates - Kyrgyz and Russian.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2011 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Bishkek today allows guests of the Russian House learning about the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House will be interested in the collection Russian Language from the institution's electronic holdings. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

Guests of the Russian House have an opportunity to learn about the materials on the history of relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan which are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia - Kyrgyzstan: the History of Relations.
