Round table dedicated to youth policy held in Azerbaijan

The youth policy of Azerbaijan and Russia was discussed at the round table in Mingachevir. The event was held in the city Youth House as part of the III Forum of Youth Initiatives.

Irek Zinnurov, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Baku, told the participants about the activities of the Russian House in the field of youth policy and the New Generation program being implemented in many regions of Russia.

The event included a presentation of projects of institutions responsible for the implementation of state youth policy in the Republic of Dagestan, Astrakhan and Nizhny Novgorod Regions. Azerbaijan Youth Houses, volunteer and other organizations also presented their projects. Issues of expanding interregional cooperation were discussed.

The remote access center to Information Resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2011 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Baku today provides guests of the Russian House with the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House will learn about the collection Russian Language from the institution's electronic holdings. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

Guests of the Russian House have an opportunity to learn about the materials on the history of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia which are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia - Azerbaijan: the History of Relations.
