Performance "The Man from Podolsk" presented to Turkish public
The premiere of the play The Man from Podolsk in Turkish was held on the stage of the Germodern Cultural Center in Ankara.
Alexey Yerkhov, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey, attended the opening of the first screening of one of the most popular plays from the Russian repertoire cycle in Turkey.
The author of the Turkish production was Kadri Ozjan, and the translation of the play as well as the staging became possible thanks to the initiative and assistance of the Russian House in Ankara. The electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, which was opened in 2014 based on the Russian House in Ankara, allows its guests today to get acquainted with the entire variety of collections in the library's collection.
Visitors to the Russian Center for Science and Culture are invited to explore the Russian Language collection from the electronic library of the Presidential Library, which includes more than 1,100 rare archival documents. These include manuscripts, historical writings, archival records, scientific papers, dictionaries, reference books, and textbooks.
In addition, guests of the Russian House can delve into materials on Russian-Turkish relations through the electronic collection Russia – Turkey: the History of Relations at the Presidential Library.
