The Beijing Pedagogical University hosted the Russian Language Olympiad "To Moscow!" with the assistance of the Russian Cultural Center
The annual Olympiad in Russian language "To Moscow!" was held at the Beijing Pedagogical University. The Olympiad was organized by the Beijing Pedagogical University (BNU), the Moscow Pedagogical State University and the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing.
The Olympiad was held in two stages and included written and oral parts, according to which the winners were determined. Students of pedagogical universities from all over China took part in the contest. The students of Stolichny, Harbin, Northeast, Tianjin, South China, Hunan, Liaoning, Anhui, Shenxi, Xinjiang Pedagogical Universities, as well as the Pedagogical University of Inner Mongolia demonstrated a high level of knowledge of the Russian language.
Three finalists - students from Stolichny, Harbin and Northeastern Pedagogical Universities - were given the opportunity to enter the MPSU.
Head of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing Olga Melnikova in her closing speech noted the importance of studying the Russian language for the further development of bilateral relations between the countries and wished all the participants of the Olympiad further success. The winners were given books, study aids, as well as souvenirs from the RCC.
An electronic collection "The Russian language" is presented on the Presidential Library portal. It included manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works (including dissertations and thesis), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. The collection is cognitive not only for the scientific and educational community and linguists, but also for a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
