History and Culture: Exhibition “Letters to the editor of Otechestvennye zapiski”, marking magazine’s foundation 200 years ago, underway in Nekrasov Museum-Reserve “Karabikha” in Yaroslavl Region

Until September 28, 2018 the Nekrasov Museum-Reserve “Karabikha” (Yaroslavl Region) is running the exhibition “Letters to the editor of Otechestvennye zapiski”. This year the magazine is celebrating 200th anniversary of its foundation (1818) and 150 years since the first issue edited by poet Nikolay Nekrasov came out in 1868.

Since the very first days the magazine had covered major historical, socio-economic, political and literary events.
