Thematic collection "Kemerovo... Photographs of Life" is represented in the V. D. Fyodorov Kemerovo Regional Research Library

The V. D. Fyodorov Kemerovo Regional Research Library marking the 100th anniversary of the regional center makes available an electronic collection of photographs “Kemerovo ... Photographs of Life” on its website.

The selection includes more than 400 documents provided by the State Archive of Kemerovo Region, photographs of different years, slides, negatives. The chronological order of the material provides an opportunity to assess how the city has been changed in different periods of its urban development. In the near future, the collection will be available on the website of the State Archive.

The collection posted on the websites of the V. D. Fyodorov Kemerovo Regional Research Library and the State Archive of Kemerovo Region provides free access to photographs on the history of the city of Kemerovo.

The formation of regional full-text electronic resources is one of the leading areas of work for the Kemerovo Regional Center of the Presidential Library, which is of particular priority in connection with preparations marking the 300th anniversary of the founding of Kuzbass.

On the website of the Presidential Library Kemerovo Region is represented by the collection “Kemerovo Region: Pages of History”. The collection includes studies, statistical and archive materials of the second half of the XIX - early XX century, reflecting the administrative, socio-economic, demographic and ethnographic position of the Mariinsky and Kuznetsk districts, the territory of which forms the present-day Kemerovo Region.
