History and Culture: Exhibition “The Magnificence of Russian Priesthood” underway in Saratov

The exhibition “The Magnificence of Russian Priesthood” is currently underway in the Radishchev Saratov State Art Museum. It spotlights the image of a clergyman in the context of Russian religious and secular art. This exhibition project is organized by the State Museum of the History of Religion (St. Petersburg), the Zhuravlyov Local History Museum in Pugachyov, the Saratov Regional Museum of Local History and the Museum of History of the Saratov Metropolitan Diocese.

The exhibition showcases a wide range of rare monuments dating from the 16th – early 20th century. It will run until July 21, 2019.
