The Year of Theatre in Russia 2019: Photo exhibition “On the Stage!” kicked off in the Russian State Art Library in Moscow

The exhibition “On the Stage!” of Anatoly Byzov - theatre photographer from Irkutsk – has been staged in the Russian State Art Library’s Reader’s Museum (Moscow). It is one of the events within “Library - Theatre – Library” educational project, which is implemented by the Okhlopkov Irkutsk Academic Drama Theatre and the Molchanov-Sibirsky Irkutsk State Research Library in partnership with the Art Library in Moscow.

Photographer Anatoly Byzov has been cooperating with the Okhlopkov Irkutsk Academic Drama Theatre for 25 years. His photographs have become a documentary chronicle of the theatre’s history.
