Society and Book Culture: Illustrations for Nikolay Gogol’s works by Russian artists go on display in Penza Region

On August 9, 2019 the Abramtsevo Museum-Reserve and the Tarkhany Lermontov Museum-Reserve launched a joint exhibition in Penza Region. The exposition “Other “Heroes of Our Time”. Illustrations for Nikolay Gogol’s Works by Russian Artists” is mounted to mark the 210th anniversary of the birth of Nikolay Gogol and the 205th anniversary of Mikhail Lermontov’s birth.

The exhibition will be open in the Tarkhany Lermontov Museum-Reserve until September 29, 2019.
