History of Russia: An exhibition dedicated to Alexei Arakcheev opened at the State Historical Museum in Moscow

September 25, 2019 the State Historical Museum (Moscow) showcases an exhibition “Betrayed Without Flattery” dedicated to Alexei Arakcheev, a favorite of emperors Pavel I and Alexander I, an iconic figure in Russian history and one of its most mythologized characters.

The items will provide an opportunity to touch the era and get familiar with the personality of Arakcheev through genuine documents and things of that time.
