Society and Book Culture: National Children’s and Young Adult Book Festival to be held in Kursk Region for the first time

For the first time the National Children’s and Young Adult Book Festival, which is part of the “Children’s and Young Adult Reading in Russia” National Project, will take place in Kursk and Kursk Region on November 22-23, 2019.  

The National Children’s and Young Adult Book Festival will be inaugurated on November 22 in the Kursk State Philharmonic Hall. Children and their parents, specialists of children’s libraries and teachers, writers, poets and lovers of children’s literature will take part in “Poems on the Stage” concert. Meetings with writers, workshops, concerts and exhibitions of Russian illustrators will be held in Kursk and Zolotukhinsky District, Kursk Region.
