The State Hermitage Museum presented a unique feature film "The Hermitage. Shot on an iPhone" created in collaboration with Apple.
Several hundred people and all the key museum's services took part in the creation of a large project - a film lasting 5 hours 20 minutes, shot on a smartphone with one take. The route included 45 halls and nearly 600 pieces of art.
The film-travel showcases not only the beauty of the museum but also the capabilities of modern technology. The main character of the film is the Hermitage itself. A slow movement features the emotions that people experience while visiting such a great museum. The film allows taking a fresh eye at the Hermitage, seeing new details, paying attention to what is usually missed.
