Internet and Libraries: Moscow libraries to launch online projects
The Alexander Gaidar Library offers to listen to music, ask a question to a writer or publisher and watch entertaining masterclasses without leaving home. On March 23, it launched an online project "TV" on its YouTube channel. The project provides daily online broadcasts for adults and children.
Another two capital's libraries invite to take part in their cultural programs online. The Alexander Nekrasov Library features lectures and rare digitized publications of the "Electronekrasovka" electronic library. Every podcast or video lecture is featured with books and periodicals from the library collection. Users may learn about the Moscow theatrical life, the popular music of the 1920s, the history of the Bauhaus school, and much more.
Besides, the section "Lectures" contains recordings of lectures on different topics - from Moscow studies ("Sense of the City") and classical and modern music ("Real Music") to psychotherapy and the history of video games.
The A.F. Losev's House website regularly broadcasts events devoted to Russian philosophy and literature. Besides, it features lectures, book presentations and much more. Lectures are available in the Video Channel section.
