Memorable Dates of Russia: Seoul to hold a campaign marking the birthday of Alexander Pushkin and Russian Language Day

A campaign in memory of Alexander Pushkin is held in Seoul on June 6. All lovers of the poet are invited to his monument. Guests may take part in several actions: bring flowers to the monument, listen to readers who will perform Pushkin’s works, participate in the campaign marking to the 200th anniversary of the "Ruslan and Lyudmila" poem, and in a quiz devoted to the poet’s oeuvre.

The organizers of an art event, dedicated to the birthday of Alexander Pushkin and Russian Language Day, are the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots in South Korea and the Association of Russian-speaking Scientists, Engineers, and Teachers in Korea RASA-KOREA.

During the event, the organizers and participants will recall letters and poems written by Alexander Pushkin in Boldino during the quarantine.
