Internet and Science: Finland launched the national research online service

Finland launched the national research portal - Research.fi online service. This is a service arranged by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland, which collects and distributes information about the research carried out in the country.

The service, launched in June 2020, will be developed gradually. Now, Research.fi provides information on the Finnish research system, publications by Finnish organisations, projects funded through public and private research funding, statistical data on human resources, financial resources for research and bibliometric data on publishing activities.

In the future, new data will enter the service. The current content will be supplied with new information. It is planned to improve the search capabilities of the service and apply functions for viewing data in graphic format.
