World History: Arkhangelsk to host international scientific conference devoted to the Allied intervention of 1918 in the Russian North

An international scientific conference devoted to the Allied intervention of 1918 in the Russian North will be held in Arkhangelsk in September. It will be attended by historians from 16 Russian cities, as well as foreign scientists. Experts from the USA, Australia, Norway and Ukraine are going to visit Arkhangelsk.

Scientists will discuss various topics related to the history of Allied intervention and the events of the Civil War in the Russian North, as well as preserving the memory of 1918-1919 and its historical outcomes. Conference delegates will also take part in a flower-laying ceremony at the memorial devoted to the victims of the intervention.
