Libraries and Society: XXII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar "Regional Studies of Libraries" to hold in Kemerovo

The V. D. Fyodorov State Scientific Library of Kuzbass (Kemerovo) will hold the XXII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar "Regional Studies of Libraries" on October 11-15, 2021.

Libraries of all kinds and specializations, library societies and associations, educational institutions, as well as library partners and other institutions contributing to the development of local history in libraries are invited to participate in the XXII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar "Regional Studies of Libraries".

The following topics are proposed for discussion:

- Social partnership in local history activities;

- Interregional and interregional local history projects;

- Museum and archival regional studies of libraries;

- Electronic local history archive as part of local history resources of the library;

- Work with non-text (video, visual and sound) and non-standard text formats of local history documents;

- Local history bibliography: History, current state, prospects;

- Sources of local history information: Analysis, criticism, choice;

- Local history factual account (general databases, digital local history products, publications);

- Local history calendars: Options for successful development;

- Local history reference and bibliographic service;

- Promotion of local history resources, products and services in social networks;

- Local history portals and websites: Analysis of the current state;

- Local history texts on library websites;

- Modern forms of a distance learning, advanced training and methodological support of specialists in the field of local history in libraries.
