The Victory Museum has prepared the new multimedia exhibition project The Tragedy of Peoples.

“The exhibition The Tragedy of Peoples is dedicated to the memory of Soviet citizens, who suffered from Nazi aggression and occupation policy, tortured in ghettos and concentration camps, sent to forced labor in Germany and neighboring countries”, – representatives of the Victory Museum’s press office said.

The exposition features over 100 digitized printed rarities from the collections of the Victory Museum – reportage photographs of war correspondents, documents, posters, flyers, front drawings and works by post-war artists, testifying to the crimes of the Nazis.

Residents of the regions have an opportunity to explore the exposition at the sites of the museum’s partners within the framework of the International Project Territory of Victory, as well as on the websites of cultural institutions.

Museums of St. Petersburg, Astrakhan, Orenburg, Smolensk, Chelyabinsk and Tula Regions,  Khabarovsk Territory, Udmurtian Republic, Republic of Mari El, as well as Republic of Belarus, Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics will be the first ones to present the exhibition.

Territory of Victory is a project of the Victory Museum, aimed at the creation of a single space on the military history of the XX century. It was launched in 2017, uniting over 250 museums in Russia and foreign countries, as well as over 7 thousand museum specialists and 10 million visitors every year.
