The Russian Language Week to be held at the Russian House in Berlin
From November 21-25, 2022 the Russian Language Week will be held at the Russian House in Berlin. These advanced training courses attract linguists, teachers and experts not only from Germany but also from other European countries. This year the Week will be devoted to the methodology and methods of teaching the Russian language in the multilingual educational space of Europe. Since 2015, a remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library has been opened at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Berlin.
Guests to the Russian House have an opportunity to learn about extensive electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russian Language.
The collection dedicated to the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation was formed by September 1, 2013 and included 539 depository items. Today, its volume is 1,176 depository items. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers (including dissertations and theses), dictionaries and reference books, teaching aids of various types and levels.
The Presidential Library’s portal features the electronic collection Russia - Germany: the History of Relations. The studies, essays, archival materials and collections of documents presented in the collection spotlight individual pages of German history starting from the 9th century, as well as the history of diplomatic, military, economic and cultural ties between Russia and Germany from the middle of the 17th century to the present.
