
An overview of materials of electronic libraries about Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky presented in Crimea
As part of the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, specialists from the Crimean Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library prepared a presentation The Pedagogical Heritage of K. D. Ushinsky on the Pages of Digital Libraries.
The review is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky, the founder of Russian scientific pedagogy, an outstanding writer and teacher who created an integral system based on the ideas of humanity and sanity.
The presentation included documents, video materials and literature from the collections of the Presidential Library and other electronic libraries, access to which is available at the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library. These materials illustrate interesting facts from the life and career of Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky.
The Presidential Library’s portal in the section Persons of Russia features biographical materials about prominent Russian state, political, military, public and church figures, figures of science, culture and art. Among them are materials dedicated to K. D. Ushinsky - Ushinsky Konstantin Dmitrievich (1824 - 1871).
The Presidential Library’s portal provides the collection Republic of Crimea: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, studies, essays, photographs and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the peninsula from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century.
