The Presidential Library and the Museum Agency of Leningrad Region to sign a cooperation agreement

On November 21, 2023 at 11:00, the Presidential Library, subordinate to the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, and the state cultural institution of Leningrad Region Museum Agency will sign a cooperation agreement. The event will take place at the Presidential Library.

The document will be signed by Director General of the Presidential Library Yuri Nosov and Director of the Museum Agency Lesya Kolesnikova.

The agreement is aimed at establishing partnerships for the development of culture, science and education, preserving and popularizing historical and cultural heritage, spiritual, moral and civic-patriotic education, as well as creating favorable conditions for the implementation of scientific, scientific-educational and cultural-educational programs.

It is planned to implement joint projects using the collections of the Presidential Library and the resources of the Museum Agency on topics related to the history of Russia, the theory and practice of Russian statehood, and the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation.

One of the important areas of work will be the organization of research and scientific-practical conferences, workshops, video lectures and other events. It is also planned to open a remote access center to the Presidential Library's collections at the Museum Agency.

Cooperation involves the release of publishing, printing, audiovisual and multimedia products, including the scientific preparation of editions of historical documents, the organization of exhibition projects in traditional and electronic formats, and the formation of thematic digital content.

The letter should contain the full name, date and place of birth, passport data (series, number, place of registration), a list of carry-on equipment, contact phone numbers, the name of the media.

We draw the attention of the media representatives that it is necessary to forward applications for accreditation and arrive at the event in advance.

Entrance to the Presidential Library is carried out only by prior registration and upon showing a passport: for media representatives - through entrance № 2, participants and guests of the event - through entrance № 1.

In order to reduce the risks of the spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the use of personal protective equipment during the event is mandatory for all attendees.
