On December 5, 2024, the specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Lermontov Penza Regional Library, organized an interactive educational event for students of grade 3 at school No. 65. The event was dedicated to the magic of Pushkin's fairy tales.
Children were shown illustrations of works by Alexander Sergeevich and postcards with paintings by renowned Russian artists Bilibin and Serov from the collection of the Presidential Library. These paintings included The Tale of the Golden Cockerel and The Tale of the Dead Princess and Seven Heroes, The Tale of Priest and His Worker Balda, and The Fisherman and Fish.
During the exciting program, students had to identify archaisms from cartoons based on Pushkin's fairy tales. The students also solved crossword puzzles and other word games.
At the end of the meeting, the library staff presented students with sweet gifts and book bookmarks featuring images of characters from Pushkin's fairy tales. According to the organizers, this event demonstrated that the children are well-acquainted with the works of Alexander Pushkin and enjoy reading his stories.
