
Presidential Library begins accepting applications for student work competition
On March 7, 2025, the Presidential Library begins accepting term papers, final qualifying papers, articles, reports and other research materials for the student work competition.
The main objectives of the competition are to draw attention to the history of Russian statehood, culture and the Russian language, and to develop students' skills in conducting scientific research using archival documents and other materials from the electronic collection of the Presidential Library.
The main condition for participation in the competition is the mandatory use of at least three sources from the electronic collection of the Presidential Library, numbering more than a million items. These are book publications, archival documents, periodicals, photo, audio and video materials in various disciplines, including Russian history, law, Russian language, geography, art history and many other areas.
Students studying at universities in Russia and abroad can submit their research papers, regardless of their citizenship, place of residence and study, course of study, or higher education program.
The materials will be evaluated by the jury in the following nominations: The best term paper using the electronic collections of the Presidential Library, The best final qualification / thesis using the electronic collections of the Presidential Library, The best research paper using the electronic collections of the Presidential Library.
The contest participants can submit no more than one work in each of the nominations.
The competition materials are accepted until June 30, 2025. The award ceremony will take place in November 2025.
