Winners and medalists of International Festival "Leonardo" visited Reserve Centre of Presidential Library in Moscow

On 17 April 2025 the Presidential Library traditionally congratulated the winners of the Moscow International Festival of Creative Discoveries and Initiatives "Leonardo-2025".

For 30 winners and medalists of the festival an exclusive excursion to the historical building of the XIX century, where authentic architectural elements have been preserved, was organised in the Reserve Centre of the Presidential Library in Moscow.

The children were told how they could use the materials of the Presidential Library's collection for study, research projects and educational leisure.

The schoolchildren also saw the exhibition of paintings "Ivan da Marya" by Ivan Krivshinko and Maria Russkaya and the exhibition "Nikolai Vtorov and his time", which is about to be opened.

Stanislav Pilyov, Director of the Presidential Library Reserve Centre, noted: "The Presidential Library is a publicly accessible electronic resource that allows to learn the history of our country from primary sources, including archival documents, encyclopedias, newsreels, rare books".

The Moscow International Festival of Creative Discoveries and Initiatives "Leonardo" has been held since 2006 with the aim of spiritual, moral, aesthetic education and intellectual development of students through introducing them to scientific activities and organising creative communication between children engaged in project-research activities in various fields of science and practice. The project is supported by the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Moscow City Duma.
