The photo was taken in the St. Petersburg apartment of Alexander Pushkin on the Moika Embankment, 12, in which the poet lived the last 4 months of his life. The picture shows a corner of the living room with views of the village of Mikhailovsky. Currently, the interior depicted on the postcard is changed. The apartment became open to visitors as a museum in 1927, after which the exposition was repeatedly changed.
