Location: From a private collection. - Souvenir badge "Frontier of Glory, December 6, 1941" It is devoted to an offensive operation near Moscow on December 6, 1941, which broke the course of the Great Patriotic War. On November 30, 1941, at the 42nd kilometer of the Volokolamsk Highway, the 78th Infantry Division of Colonel Afanasy Beloborodov held defense. In fierce battles, Soviet troops retained this line, and later in December, launched an offensive. May 9, 1967 at the 42-kilometer of the Volokolamsk highway, where the last boundary was held, a memorial was opened. On a high platform, the T-34-85 tank and concrete pyramids are installed. The authors of the memorial are architect S. Nekrasov, engineer R. Nesvizhskaya. In the building of the former school a museum was opened, in the funds of which there are unique trophy exhibits: military equipment, personal items found on the battlefields (from German tanks to the compass and spoon). The museum complex includes two outdoor exhibition grounds: a tank ground (WWII technique) and a military memorial cemetery with the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union A. Beloborodov. On the territory of the museum there is also a memorial complex "Soldiers-Siberians". Memorial plates of the memorial commemorate the memory of two armies, 26 divisions, 6 infantry brigades, as well as a listed list of 19 Siberian soldiers awarded the title of Heroes of the Soviet Union in the Battle of Moscow .
