Chronicle of the war with Japan / editor-publisher Colonel Dubensky. - 1904, No. 1 - 1905, No. 84. - St. Petersburg: Association of R. Golike and A. Vildborg, 1904-1905. -
Since January 1906, it was transformed into a magazine: "The Artistic Chronicle of Events."
Weekly illustrated magazine published during the Russo-Japanese War in St. Petersburg, with the participation of P. Belavenets, P. Vozhin, Al. Vereshchagin, Vl. Nedzvetsky, N. Obruchev, P. Rossiev, I. Yuvachev and a group of officers of the General Staff. Editor-publisher: Colonel DN Dubensky. A total of 84 issues. Each room contained not less than 16 pages of large format, with photographs, illustrations, portraits, plans, maps, sketches and drawings from the war of artists N. Kravchenko, V. Mazurovsky, I. Samokish, A. Safonov, etc. The magazine printed: lists Most mercifully awarded in the Russo-Japanese War of production in the following ranks; orders of the 1st degree; the Order of St. George; Gold weapon with the inscription "For bravery"; Orders for differences; awarded in accordance with the highest orders for 1904; awarded in accordance with the Highest Orders for 1905; Georgievsky knights for the war with Japan 1904-1905 gg. ; ranks of the Manchu armies; Port Arthur garrison; rank of the fleet (according to the highest orders for the military department until November 12, 1905); clergymen, dead, wounded, deceased from wounds and rewarded during the last war. The material in the magazine was divided into sections: 1. Official department (Highest orders, circulars, orders, etc.). 2. Official reports from the war. 3. Articles explaining the state of affairs. 4. News of the enemy's forces, his intentions and plans. 5. Correspondence with the war. 6. Response to war in Russia. 7. The attitude of foreign powers. 8. Various notes and articles on military events and about them. 9. Mixture. 10. Cartoons. 11. Announcements .
