In the photo: the medal "For the liberation of Warsaw" by Uvarov Mikhail Grigorievich. The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm, made of brass. On the front side of the medal: at the top along the rim there is the inscription "FOR RELEASE", in the center there is an inscription on the tape "WARSAW", below is a five-pointed star with rays diverging from it. The front side of the coin is bordered with a ledge. On the reverse side of the coin: the date of liberation of Warsaw "January 17, 1945", over the date five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal with the ear and ring is connected to a pentagonal shoe covered with a blue silk moire ribbon, a red strip in the middle of the ribbon, the edges of the tape are bordered with narrow yellow stripes.
