On November 1, 2010, the V International Film Festival of popular science cinema "The World of Knowledge" opened in the Presidential Library named after B. N. Yeltsin. The organizers of this event were the Lennauchfilm studio, the National Committee Intellectual Resources of Russia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg, the Union of Cinematographers of St. Petersburg. The purpose of the festival is the revival of interest in popular science films. The program of the film festival included 33 films of Russian and foreign production. |
