The session of the Council under the RF President authorized representative in the North-Western federal district will take place in the Presidential Library

On March 26 in the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library will take place a meeting of the Council under the RF President authorized representative in the North-Western federal district. The meeting will attend the Heads of administrations of the North-Western federal district regions. During the meeting the participants will learn about the Presidential Library activities regarding the creation of the branch network. After the meeting each region should develop a program on the implementation of the all-Russian project.

Led by I. I. Khlevanov the management of Karelia and Komi Republics, the regions of Arkhangelsk, Vologda, Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Murmansk, Novgorod and Pskov will take a tour around the Presidential Library. In the Library multimedia complex they will be given the following presentations: ‘Project of regional branches creation’ and ‘Strategy of the informational society development’.

The session attendants will have the opportunity to discuss in detail the technical and financial aspects of the branches’ creation.

The Library has already signed the agreement on creation of its branches with Tyumen and Omsk regions, with Tatarstan, Chuvashia and Buryatia Republics. In accordance with the RF President’s decree of June 18, 2007 the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library branches will be open in all the territories of the Federation.
