Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin is holding an exhibition of one painting “Appearance of Nizhny Novgorod volunteer corps. 1612”. The exposition is timed to 400th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod volunteer corps.
The painting “Appearance of Nizhny Novgorod volunteer corps. 1612” is painted by the Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of Nizhny Novgorod prize Viktor Malinovsky (1928-2011).
The author had worked over a series of paintings devoted to the anniversary of people’s feat, however he painted only this one, which was finished several days before the artist’s death.
