April 23, 2012 UNESCO celebrates The World Day of Book and Copyright in Yerevan - world book capital 2012.

Yerevan has been declared by UNESCO the World Book Capital 2012 in occasion of the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing.

«ArmBookExpo» International Exhibition takes place in the Yerevan Art center "Cafesjian" 22-23 April 2012 under the "Yerevan 2012: International Book Capital".

The exhibition «ArmBookExpo» includes a presentation of the Armenian e-books.

The digitized books presented at the exhibition are part of online project https://allarmenianbooks.com/ which provides access to a lot of popular Armenian books in an electronic format.

Armenian e-books look the same as paper copies with colorful illustrations and annotations. In addition, the electronic interface of the book gives the reader an opportunity to make bookmarks, is equipped with a simple navigation and has many other useful features.

E-books available on allarmenianbooks.com, can be accessed from a personal computer, as well as from any mobile device - laptop, tablet and mobile phone.

This is the first site of the king, offering a large selection of Armenian books for both adults and children alike. On the site you can find tales of great Armenian writers, such as Hovhannes Tumanyan, literature of Armenian classics, as well as children's magazines and textbooks.
