Memory of Russia: The monument to one of the inventors of the television Vladimir Zvorykin opens in Moscow

July 29, 2013 it is the 125th anniversary of the birth of the inventor of the television – Vladimir Kozmich Zvorykin. On this day in the territory of the park next to the TV center “Ostankino” in Moscow will take place the solemn ceremony of the opening of the monument to Zvorykin.

The opening ceremony will be attended by the granddaughter of Zvorykin Knudsen and his biographer Frederic Olessi, as well as the heads of relevant ministries and agencies, TV channels and the National Association of Broadcasters.
