8 October 2013

October 8, 2013 in Madrid, in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, opens the exhibition “Surrealism and the Dream”, which presents 163 works by prominent artists of the Surrealists.

These are pictures of the founder of the trend – Salvador Dali – and his followers: Breton, Miro and Magritte.

The exhibition includes works from major museums and galleries in the world – the Paris Centre Pompidou, the Tate Gallery in London, the New York area of the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. The main attention of the organizers is directed to the sources, the birthplace of surrealism.
