Information and society: The All-Russian conference “Preservation of electronic information in Russia” in Moscow

December 5, 2013 in Moscow with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is held the All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference “Preservation of electronic information in Russia”.

The organizers: the Russian Committee of UNESCO Program “Information for Everyone” and the Interregional Library Cooperation Center.

The conference is held under the chairmanship of Russia in the Intergovernmental Council of the UNESCO Program “Information for Everyone”.

The topic of the conference is the preparation and training of specialists in the field of preservation of digital information.

The need to create a system of training and retraining in this area stands out as the key in all the final documents of Russian and international conferences in recent years.

The conference welcomes the heads and specialists of the federal and regional governments and organizations in the sphere of culture, science, education, information technology and communications, Press and Mass Communications, heads of universities and other educational organizations that provide training of specialists of libraries, archives and museums.
