
Russian museums: The exhibition “Tsaritsyno of the Silver Age” in the Museum-Reserve “Tsaritsyno”
The first banner exhibition "Tsaritsyno of the Silver Age" opens on July 19, 2014 at the Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno" (Moscow) in the Tsaritsyno Park.
The exhibition invites you to make a journey 100 years ago, at a time when suburban Tsaritsyno was a prestigious resort village.
The life of Tsaritsino summer residents is told in documents and photographs of late XIX - early XX century from the collection of the State Museum "Tsaritsyno" and private archives. Many of them are first offered to the general public.
The exhibition "Tsaritsyno of the Silver Age" will be the beginning of the museum expansion space in the park. Banners, which will present historical photographs, archival documents, and works of art from the collections of the State Museum "Tsaritsyno" will be on display at the outdoor pavilion mounted from wooden structures.
